NZCT is proud to be the largest funder of amateur sports in New Zealand.
For the first time in their history St Mary’s College took the Girls’ national title. They beat St Peter’s, Cambridge 68-62 in the final. This capped off an amazing unbeaten record for St Mary’s in 2017. Other teams from Wellington also performed well in this intensely competitive championship. Capital Basketball is seeking someone passionate about basketball for this new role.
The successful applicant will help influence the future of basketball in our ever-increasing sport, region wide. They will work alongside our community to identify their needs and develop and deliver programmes to meet those needs.
To be considered for this role you must be experienced in coaching and have current best practice knowledge, including and understanding physical literacy. You must be open to new ideas and flexible in your approach. This role has to meet various criteria so the ability to write a concise and accurate report is important.
Capital Basketball’s Scott Richardson and Bob Bishop delivered training at the Mana Colleges Basketball Academy. This is a new concept by Mana College and focuses on the junior students with the aim of building the player and the person. (Read More)
