Te Tai Hou – The New Tide

Te Tai Hou brings a new wave of inclusive leagues where we hope to cater to ALL people wanting to play basketball in our community. Basketball is growing rapidly and we want to ensure that people of all ages, genders, mobility and skills have the opportunity to participate in the game and feel like they belong.

We’re bringing Rangatahi and Whānau together to engage in basketball

Te Tai Hou is a new model of leagues that aims to grow beyond the traditional formats to engage our community and bring people together to enjoy getting active in basketball as one. Our offerings include age, ability, and gender-inclusive leagues that we hope encourage people to play basketball no matter who they are and what their experiences of basketball are; we want everyone to feel comfortable in our spaces and give it a go! We will have options for our newbies through to our regular ballers.
