3X3 Basketball
3X3 basketball is an exciting format that is on the rise internationally, especially as it’s now a popular Olympic sport. A fast paced, 3-a-side game, 3X3 encompasses all the fun of the traditional basketball format but with innovative changes to ensure constant movement and play around the basket.
Your 3x3 basketball experience comes alive in summer and there are various events to accommodate different ages and abilities including;
3X3 POP-UP in your local neighborhood.
Te Tai Hou 3x3 Women’s and 3x3 Business competitions
the College Sport Wellington 3x3 Slam - regional champs for seniors in Term 1 and juniors in Term 4.

3X3 Pop Up x Creekball Jan 2023 saw over 200 people from the community head down for an evening of fun in remembrance of the late Willie Taurima. A HUGE thank you to NZCT for your support!!

HELL PIZZA
We love our Hell Pizza family who continue to back our mahi and mission to provide basketball across our entire Capital zone with our 3X3 Pop-Up experience.
Pasifika Festival 2023 was a vibe, working alongside the Wellington Saints, Wellington City Council, NZCT and Hell Pizza to revive another outdoor hoop to promote inclusion for all ages and mobility levels.
3X3 POP-UP 2024
The dawn of a new year brings something fresh for all ages right in the heart of your community for 2024. 3X3 pop-ups are coming to a court near you!!! With dunk comps for our high-flyers who can throw it down, a trick-shot challenge for those with magic touch, 3pt Comp for our sharp-shooters and if you’ve got handles known to break ankles… come through and check ball! No registrations needed… roll up with your teams, and let’s have some fun in the sun! Prizes also to be won the day.

Youth Town Summer Jam - 3x3 Basketball
Join us for an action-packed day at Civic Square, Wellington, as we spend a day in the sun, playing some sport, listening to the tunes, chilling on beanbags, eating and drinking and having a blast.!
Make sure you bring sunscreen and water.
When: Saturday 10th February 2024
Time: 10:00am - 3:00pm*
Where: Civic Square, Wellington
Cost: $25 per team
