3X3 Basketball

3X3 basketball is an exciting format that is on the rise internationally, especially as it’s now a popular Olympic sport. A fast paced, 3-a-side game, 3X3 encompasses all the fun of the traditional basketball format but with innovative changes to ensure constant movement and play around the basket.

Your 3x3 basketball experience comes alive in summer and there are various events to accommodate different ages and abilities including;

3X3 POP-UP in your local neighborhood.
Te Tai Hou 3x3 Women’s and 3x3 Business competitions
the College Sport Wellington 3x3 Slam - regional champs for seniors in Term 1 and juniors in Term 4.

Pasifika Festival 2023 was a vibe, working alongside the Wellington Saints, Wellington City Council, NZCT and Hell Pizza to revive another outdoor hoop to promote inclusion for all ages and mobility levels.
