Capital Basketball Coach Education

Capital Basketball in partnership with our associations offer courses, clinics, workshops and ongoing support at the Kiwi Hoops Coach and Community Coach levels of the national pathway. We aim to grow and support coaches based in associations, schools, universities and clubs so that our players across the region are receiving a quality coaching experience.

Community Coach (FIBA Level 1)

  • For coaches who have completed this course and need to complete the practical assessment, please email training@capitalbasketball.org to organise.

Kiwi Hoops Coach (coaches of 5-12 year old players)

Coaching Clinics 2019

  • BBNZ Style of Play Clinics, no registration required, FREE
    • Coaching U15 Players – April 1, 6:30-8pm @ St Patrick’s, Silverstream
    • Coaching U19 Players – April 2, 6:30-8pm @ Newlands College
    • Coaching U15 Players – April 4, 6:30-8pm @ Aotea College
